One of the first things Jason and I did, after finally coming face to face with each other, with ten years between our last meeting, was settle down over steaming cups of chai (in our cozy room at Rosario Resort, on Orcas Island -- the site of our almost-wedding, ten years earlier) and plan our Top Ten list of places we wanted to adventure together.
Iceland was number four, although we did not admittedly rank them -- just scribbled them down as we called them out, and nodded agreement.
And then we found a luxe-for-less package that was too good to pass up. We leave on March 15th, 2017.

I've applied for Icelandair's famous Stopover Buddies program, hoping against hope they'll come through! ((Update: They didn't. But I'm still hoping they'll come through by jetting us their and back on their awesome-sounding Hekla Aurora plane, which uses cool tech to simulate the Northern Lights onboard.))
But wait, there's more!.. And don't worry, it doesn't involve eating whale, or puffin!
